An afternoon celebrating the talents of past and present students, staff and alumni in a grand concert. Hear some of the best Australian talent that have been inspired and motivated in music and the arts by the YMS. Featured performers will include tenor Christopher Lincoln, Judith Clingan and her Early Music Ensemble, the YMS Concert Band, Holly Downs and the YMS Wild Strings Ensemble, Take No Prisoners rock band, the Canberra Burns Club Pipe Band, Padma Newsome with his original compositions, In Full Swing Big Band and many more……. what a great fun afternoon. YMS DRUMMING CIRCLE FESTIVAL

An event run in conjunction with the support of The Groove Warehouse where percussionists will gather for workshops, talks and practical sessions. The event will culminate in a brief concert featuring a variety of drumming styles and performing groups.

Canberra Girls Grammar School, Deakin, Canberra
A free, non-competitive afternoon for youth, childrens and community choirs to come together to share a quality choral singing experience through workshops and performances. Individuals, youth and children’s choirs and their conductors are invited to participate and may be invited to perform briefly at the closing concert. All participants will be required to pre-prepare a massed choir piece.
