The YMS will no longer be offering the instrument hire program.

Over 50 years the YMS hire program has had significant impact on and contributed greatly to the lives of thousands of young musicians growing up in Canberra and their ability to access affordable instruments on which they could start their musical journey. Sadly, the YMS no longer has the resources nor support from the community to continue to offer this service.

Yes, the YMS concert Band will re-commence rehearsals in Term 1, 2024. Click here for more details.

You can pay for annual YMS membership when enrolling into one of our holiday programs. Otherwise, please contact us to arrange a membership payment of $30 per year.
