Senior Program – Year 7 to Year 12

We can only run courses if we have the numbers and as a result of a slow enrolments we have had to re think our senior program.  We will be combining students into one program with a little bit of everything being covered.  On enrolment we will take expressions of interest, notice of payment will be sent once the program is confirmed.

The program will include:

I Have Always Wanted to Play the ….

Song Writing

Pop Music Production

Combined Band (bit of jazz, a bit of big band, a bit of symphony, a bit of something for every level and lots of fun!)

We will also sneak in a bit of Foley work just for fun.

There will be learning, sharing, performing with brilliant professional musicians and teachers.

I Have Always Wanted to Play the …!

Have you wanted to have a go at an instrument to see if you will like it?  Be introduced to a range of different instruments, have a brief lesson, learn a simple song – then move onto something new!

Song Writing

Do you want to tell your stories through music? Sally Davis, performer and songwriter, will take you on a journey through the world of song writing.  Explore the theory, write your own song and record a demo!  This course can stand alone or you can do a full day to get even more out of the experience.

Pop Music Production

Music production is the process by which music is created, captured Learn different rhythm techniques, how to make beats, how to use software instruments and various audio effects.

  • Year 6 students may apply for a place if they can show evidence that the primary program would not be suitable.  We can arrange supervision prior to and between courses and students can attend the after school program if needed.
